2016 Chevrolet MalibuLTThis Malibu runs and drives excellent in its current condition with no issues found in the engine, transmission, suspension, cooing and/or electrical. The vehicle was purchased after sustaining fresh water damage. When the vehicle arrived to our shop we checked all of the fluids for water contamination. There were trace amounts of water in both the oil and trans fluid. We flushed all of the fluids, re-filled them and this Malibu turned over and shifted through all gears with no problems. The interior of the vehicle was damp when it arrived. The water just got the carpet wet and didn't get any higher then that. We pulled the interior, steam cleaned it and allowed it to dry over the course of a few days. We did have to replace the starter. The wheel alignment is correct, the tires are balanced, the brake pads have no issues. These vehicle sit un-driven for months before we purchase them. The brake rotors accumulate rust and usually need to be turned on a brake lathe for smooth braking. We are NO longer taking care of this maintenance item. There were no noted issues with the transmission or engine.
